Matteo Frigo got Bachelor’s and Master’s Civil Engineering degrees in 2014 and 2017, respectively.
He got his Ph.D. in 2020 from the University of Padua, with a major in Numerical Analysis.
During the Ph.D. program, he spent a period as Visiting Researcher Student at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), California, USA.
The main scientific interests concern mathematical and numerical modeling.
He is experienced in the implementation of computer codes both on serial computers and on supercomputers.
His research is mainly focused on studying numerical linear algebra problems and preconditioning techniques.
