16 Feb A new paper on Chronos is available on-line
The paper describing the hybrid MPI-OpenMP implementation of Chronos library is now available through arXiv.
The work describes the numerical algorithms and the implementation of the software suite with several numerical benchmarks. Practical mechanics and fluid dynamics applications with hundreds of millions of unknowns are addressed and compared with other state-of-the-art linear solvers, proving Chronos efficiency and robustness.
The Chronos development is now focused on porting its native AMG solver to GPU and FPGA systems.
