💧 Civil & Environmental Engineer | Hydrology & Hydraulic Engineering Specialist
I graduated in Civil Engineering at the University of Padua in 2005 with top honours (110/110 summa cum laude), with a thesis on subsurface hydrology in tidal environments, awarded the national prize in memory of Prof. Giuseppe Bendoricchio.
In 2009, I earned a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering Sciences, specialising in Hydrology. My academic research focused on environmental modelling: simulation of subsurface hydrological processes in tidal areas, development of mono/multi-phase numerical models, analysis of unsaturated flow–vegetation interactions, and advanced use of environmental monitoring and automated data collection.
From 2009 to 2012 I worked on professional projects related to hydraulic works design and modelling. Since 2012 I have been part of M3E S.r.l., where I became Associate Partner in 2020.
I have authored and co-authored scientific papers published in international journals and presented at national and international conferences on hydrology, hydraulics, and environmental modelling.
